Dear Members of EASA,

The Australian Studies Centre at Barcelona University is bringing out a
volume of  its electronic journal Coolabah in memory of Bruce Bennett.

Bruce was part of the steering committee that set up EASA and was always
hugely supportive of any Australian Studies initiative in Europe.

This is a call for papers in his honor. The papers may take the form of:

Personal Memoirs
Academic Articles in Bruce's area of expertise which was massive
Creative Writing

There is no maximum or minimum limit on length. In fact perhaps the
shorter is preferable so we can accommodate all who wish to contribute but
the final decision is for the contributor.

We are also publishing an In Memoriam signature list so you might want to
add your name to that.

The Centre's conference "Looking Back to Look Forwards" will be dedicated
to his memory as well as any publication that stems from that conference.

If you would like to contribute a piece in his memory or sign the In
memoriam list please mail Sue Ballyn at . I will then
construct a mailing list for contributors to the journal and send out the
style sheet to you all.

Please mail me as soon as possible as we would like to have the papers by
October so that the journal can be launched at the conference in December.
